Our Story
Hello! Bonjour! I ni sogoma!
We’re husband and wife, Ibrahim “Iba” Doumbia and Lauren Blair, partners in life and in work. Together we co-lead a small business in Los Angeles, raise our kids and carry the honor of caring for family abroad.
Our lives are both practical and visionary. We run the day-to-day operations of our business, build independent consulting careers and move intentionally toward what God has next for us.
This site brings us together because our journeys are intertwined even when our consulting practices are independent. This is the landing pad for it all, one place to connect with each of us and the work we do.
We believe our work, whether in California, West Africa or beyond, is part of the same story arc of serving others, building with purpose and creating the legacy of a shared life well-lived. At the heart of our story is a simple conviction: Doing well is a natural outcome of doing good.

With 15 years of consulting experience and a lifelong call to service, I build and lead multi-disciplinary teams, align strategy with execution and inspire people to grow through consulting and delivery, training, speaking and writing.
When mining companies and multinationals expand in West Africa, there’s often a gap between strategy and execution. Misaligned teams, cultural nuances and stakeholder pressures can derail results.
Ibrahim Doumbia closes that gap. He sells the vision across cultures, communicates on the front lines and ensures organizations realize the business value they intended. Fluent in English, French and Bambara, he strengthens relationships, aligns teams and delivers outcomes in complex environments.
